Matt is an illustrator who enjoys mixing the realities of a subject with the emotions and scale you get in fantasy. He was surrounded by academics much of his formative years and found the clear morality in westerns and comics to be more pure in it’s distillation of right and wrong.

In his approach to illustrations he enjoys a project when you can feel like it’s play more than work. Matt draws on paper and also on a tablet, he is a political junky and still loves the medium of comics as a way to tell stories.

He has mixed feeling a bout writing in the third person.
